Review: U7 18K Gold Virgin Mary Pendant Necklace

I was sent this Virgin Mary pendant necklace by U7 for free for a review.

This is a lovely pendant which makes the perfect gift for any religious person in your life. The pendant comes in a a gift box and the gift box sits inside a re-sealable plastic bag. The gift box is a simple one and inside you have the pendant (in its own packaging) and a thank you leaflet. There is no silk pouch as described in the amazon description.
The pendant sits on a piece of card which has a felt side to it so looks well presented.

The pendant itself is very beautiful. It certainly doesn’t look like a cheap item and instead the gold colour is very rich. Both sides of the pendant have the typical Virgin Mary images that exist on these types of pendant. On the front the figure with the back featuring the cross and the letter M.

The chain doesn’t quite look like a chain and indeed looks nicer, I think, with thin but longer chain links that almost look like a similar long sized bead. The clasp is easy to open and close and the whole pendant sits very well with no discomfort. For me the pendant sits quite low on the chest, low enough that I can hold it while wearing it and look at it. It sits well on the body and doesn’t turn around like some pendants are prone to doing.

Overall I think this makes just the perfect gift for a religious person or any age. My own Grandmother is very religious and she just loves this and I’ve been told it would make a lovely communion gift too! It is really beautifully made, and its just the perfect gift to give to a family member or friend or even yourself!
